Communication with your
reffering GP
The decision for using anchorage screws is made by the orthodontist.
Should you decide to have them installed by a referring GP, we recommend providing him with the study model, bearing a landmark for the location you need your anchorage at.
Then, using an X-ray, he will select the proper size of ANCORA® (8, 10 or 12mm). The length of the screw will depend upon the quantity of bone and upon the thickness of the mucosa.
