Selecting a material
- We are not looking for any osseointegration of the screws
- Some titanium screws may break during insertion or removal procedures
- Removal is totally painless and does not ask for any anesthesia of the mucosa
- There is no study about titanium screws being loaded immediately with continuous forces perpendicular to their long axis
- M25 surgical steel is widely used in orthopedic surgery
- Its mechanical properties are much better than those of titanium and we can confidently say that ANCORA® is unbreakable under normal conditions of use.
